Starting as engineers in his garage, our founders JT and Kalvin “Kaltron” honed their skills and passion for music production. After working for a recording studio and gaining valuable experience, they embarked on their own entrepreneurial journey. Fueled by a desire to create a space where artists could freely express themselves and produce high-quality music, they founded Creativ. With a humble beginning in a garage, Creativ has evolved into a thriving music studio that offers top-notch mixing and mastering services, recording facility, music production lessons, and client consultation. The journey from a garage engineer to a successful music entrepreneur defines the spirit of innovation, creativity, and dedication that drives Creativ to empower artists and elevate the music industry.
SMYLE! / JT ( Engineer )
JT or “SMYLE!” was born and raised from Las Vegas, NV always being surrounded in music since he was young. Composing music for his high school marching band and performing across the country in different ensembles. JT saved up enough to get his first DAW (Ableton) when he was 16 years old. This was an opening of a new chapter to work on production on a electronic level where there are no limits to sound to be created. Taking classes at CSN and receiving an internship at a local music studio, “It’s Gorgeous Musique”, he progressed his musicianship working with clients and producing beats to become an accredited recording engineer. In 2022, JT ventured to become a versatile artist blending into EDM and performing shows under a new performance name, “SMYLE!”, building his brand from the ground up.
Kkzi ( Engineer )
Kkzi (KAZI) – producer – engineer Kazi has been working in the music business for the past 7 years. Coming from a family line of music, he has always had a special relationship to it. He achived a major milestone goal of a professional basketball contract in FIBA in 2021, but he actually learned he loved music way more and it’s where his heart was.
With original production, session production and songwriting being the highlight of his skill set, he loves to create records with artists and do his best to capture the magic in the Studio into song. He also maintains powerful relationships within the music industry around executive project production for A-list American and Global Artists, as well as curated business in the global festival space – a necessary facotr for the expansion of Creativ Entertainment as a high level experience company and not just a music studio.
